Solar Settlers sounds nice, but it would lead to confusion with some of the more recognisable board games (Settlers of Catan and Imperial Settlers) and a few of smaller ones, which have “Settlers” in title.

I kind of agree actually, but I LIKE that it implies boardgameyness. It’s something to consider for sure though.
Therein lies the advantage I think. The best name (like the best screenshots) would, I think, cause a random person browsing to investigate further. Solar Settlers is the least artsy or creative of the names, but in the case of a video game, I prefer the creativity to be in the game rather than the name.
For that same reason, I think Light-Year Frontier won’t get as much attention. It’s a cooler name though. The ideal thing would be a way to test online which of the two got more notice. I’ve no idea how to do that though.
